With everything going on in the world it is little surprise that sometimes you feel overwhelmed, anxious or just plain exhausted. 

It can be hard to think of ways through.

Taking a moment to talk through what you are feeling and how it is affecting you is a great place to start.

Usually, we start with the present, discussing your current situation and what we can change today to improve the situation quickly. This will likely involve tackling any thoughts or behaviours you may be doing automatically that are not serving you.

Sometimes, the present can be influenced by the past so we will explore this together, looking for old ways of thinking or behaving that might not work for you anymore.

We will design a plan of action together to deal with all of these and get you moving forwards.

Our therapists have been described as warm, supportive, funny but also direct, and sometimes even challenging.

Once we establish a goal for our sessions, we are fully committed to helping you achieve it.

To do this, we bring the knowledge gained through multiple degrees and the cumulative experience of thousands of hours of clinical work with clients.

 

We work with a range of human experiences including:

  • Depression and related issues including MDD, Dysthymia, SAD, Postpartum, and Atypical depression. 
  • Low self-esteem and feeling down.
  • Stress management including sustainable routines, self-care and wellbeing.
  • Life fatigue including a lack of motivation, enthusiasm, drive and an unclear path forward.
  • Men’s issues including, coping with emotions, dating and life in the modern world

 

We are fully insured registered members of ACTA and work integratively, incorporating person-centred, CBT, psychodynamic theories but also draw on psychotherapeutic coaching techniques such as solution-focused coaching.
